PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
U.S. Air Force 88th Air Base Wing Civil Engineering Directorate. Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. July 2009 – Present
Design & Construction Manager (2012 – Present). Under this role I managed projects from cradle to grave, overseeing designs from their initial concepts through to their physical completion. I also directed contractors and managed daily construction requirements for projects.
Architectural Designer (2009 – 2012). My responsibilities as a designer in the project office include project programming, cost estimation, design, document packaging, coordination, and management among other tasks. I have been the lead designer on two complete in-house design projects.
Architecture Palace Acquire (PAQ) Intern (2009 – 2011). I attended training courses to study the technical and managerial business of the Directorate. I rotated through the Civil Engineering organizations to understand the trades and mission of the each division.

Foreman’s Apprentice (2008). I spent the majority of my time as a foreman’s assistant managing the construction of the residential part of the mixed-use building. Referencing the architectural plans, I drew the interior layout on the floors to be framed. I managed a group of carpenters and laborers to construct the building as planned.
Project: White Provision Community. Atlanta, Georgia
Carpenter (2005 – 2007). As a carpenter, I framed walls, installed ceilings, and did basic finishing work. I was able to work with many different tools and machinery such as power saws and aerial lifts as I gained more construction responsibilities.

Laborer/Carpenter’s Apprentice (2004). I began my experience by cleaning all construction areas and assisted carpenters when needed. I gained valuable knowledge in commercial construction as I observed the carpenters construct the intricate interior spaces.
